After all the theories and analyses that we’ve studied in the class, I think that the theory of Heroes and the Cult of the Celebrity and the theory of Rituals best relates to the Coca-Cola Company. We all know that Coca-Cola has been one of the number one beverages in the world. Since its creation in 1886 by a pharmacist named John Pemberton, Coca-Cola has always aimed to win in the global market and be the most consumed beverage in the world.

The most interesting findings from all the analyses that I found about Coca-Cola is that the company is really working hard in the field of humanity. They have been working so hard to help poor people especially in some African countries. The firm has launched 150 “life centers” in the poorest areas of the earth, to distribute drinking water; they also installed solar panels for electricity and satellite dome to access to the internet. Another interesting point that I found about Coca-cola is that the consumption of Coca-Cola can be very harmful and can causes many health problems that are frequently encountered today: caries, obesity. For me, it is important for some people to know about this side effect on this beverage because it will prevent them to have problem with their health.

My opinions about Coca-cola, based from all the analyses, are much wider now than they were before. Now, I have much clear idea about how Coca-Cola can be very dangerous for human health and also they are only focusing on how they can make more money but not on our well being. Personally, I am not a big fan of soft drink because most of the time if I drink it I feel very uncomfortable in my body.
